This was a custom furniture request for a special customer. With a little back and forth with the customer ended up with this one of a kind farmhouse bar height kitchen table!

The construction grade lumber made the project affordable and provides the piece with natural knots in the wood.

Finished with a shou sugi ban method. By burning the wood then scraping it with a wire brush it give the table amazing texture.

We put a clear poly urethane finish on the table that protects it well, darkened the wood a bit, and makes it look very high class. No one would guess it is made with construction grade lumber!

The table turned out elegant and sturdy and is a perfect entertaining and dining table.
